Pussy Riot and the continuation of the American-directed campaign against Russia and Putin

Translated from French by Tom Winter
Feminist and leader of the punk group "Pussy Riot" Nadia Tolokonnikova is known for outrageous public appearances. Now in Zurich, March 15, 2016 she has presented her book Instructions for a Revolution. In this book she gives 200 concrete instructions on how one can resist a "repressive state." In practice, it calls on the Russian population to rise against the alleged "political guardianship" of President Vladimir Putin.

In the past, this anti-Putin got herself noticed by staging media-savvy and extremely provocative protest actions. What the media have carefully ignored though, is the obscene and degrading way she opposed Russian Orthodox religious traditions and conservative values such as honor and family. Thus Nadia Tolokonnikova participated, when she was pregnant, in a group sex presentation in the biological museum of Moscow.

In 2012, in conformity with Russian law, she was sentenced to two years in prison for blasphemous presentations, that is to say that mocked God, in the Moscow Cathedral and for "serious breach of public policy by religious hatred," but was granted early release in late 2013.

The judicial process also revealed the close link of Nadia Tolokonnikova with the women's movement "FEMEN," founded in 2008, that puts on demonstrations everywhere in the world. Femen activists show up bare-breasted with their bodies smeared with political slogans.

Other examples of the actions of these naked protesters:

In Kiev the desecration and destruction of a cross in memory of the victims of Stalinism.

• The extremely brutal action with placards against Putin and the Russian Orthodox patriarch, showing how they would behead Putin and Patriarch Kirill with a chainsaw.
• or a "Topless Jihad," that is to say a provocation by the women enemies of Islam, bare-breasted in front of the Ahmadiyya Mosque in Berlin.

The appearances of "Femen" are particularly media-savvy. As in these examples, they provide images for negative headlines. While the actions of "Pussy Riot" particularly trigger aversion and contempt among the Russian population, they seem tailor-made for the Western media in order to raise feelings of opposition against Russia and President Putin. This is why it is interesting to take a closer look behind the scenes of activists to recognize exactly who is behind this radical movement Femen.

The Femen movement was founded by the show business director Anna Hutsol.

• Femen views itself as the new wave of feminism of the 3rd millennium and has active supporters on five continents.

• Femen appears in a manner extremely sexist. This "sextrémisme" is meant to serve the protection of women's rights and the maintenance of democracy.
• The Femen activists see themselves as soldiers, conducting street operations daily that are risky and highly provocative.

What is interesting is that a year before the founding of Femen, Anna Hutsol received training and coaching in the US Open World Program,** which was founded by James Billington . The Open World Program aims to train potential "leaders" worldwide, that is to say leading figures in line with American principles and requirements and then to plant these people as much as possible in key positions. In his progress report to the US government, James Billington says the following:

"Open World extends and expands its influence in Eurasia; in this region of great strategic importance, the program will acquaint the new generation of leaders with the American traditions of individual rights and the responsibilities of elected government officials. "

It is in this way that so far Open World has had over 17,000 young leaders from European and Asian countries residing in the United States and educated according to the American vision. The Femen movement is therefore proving to be a tool established and trained by the US to further expand US global predominance, appealing also to the cultural dimension. Therefore it seems that the book of the radical feminist Nadia Tolokonnikova Instructions for a Revolution is not just an act of liberation that comes of itself from the author. It's all about the defamation campaign orchestrated by the Americans against the Russian government and President Vladimir Putin.
