Nazarbayev: Attack in Aktobe Was Committed by Followers of Salafism

The attack in Aktobe was committed by followers of Salafism, said the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, during the meeting of the Security Council. According to him, almost all the terrorists have already been eliminated.

"We already know that it was a terrorist attack of followers of the nontraditional religious movement of Salafism. By providing religious freedom in the Republic, we at the same time intend to give a decisive rebuff to all who, under the guise of religious slogans, will undermine the situation in the country," said the head of Kazakhstan.
