Ukraine plans to cancel the celebrations on May 1st and Victory Day. This is stated in the bill registered in the Verkhovna Rada. Its authors are representatives of the factions of the Petro Poroshenko and Arseniy Yatsenyuk: Andrey Levus, Sergey Vysotsky, Nikolay Knyazhitsky, Vadim Denisenko, and others.

They are the remnants of Russian propaganda and the Communist regime," and therefore they should not be celebrated.
